Your families patterns and behaviors will need to be adjusted to ensure the highest level of retention. As trainers, we instruct our clients that training is never done. Each day you will need to maintain what your dog has learned to empower them to remain within rules & boundaries. Consistency is essential and it will create the long-term results every time.

Not at all. While some adult dogs might learn more slowly, it's never too late to teach an older dog to listen and obey. Old dogs can learn new tricks, counter to the cultural adage. Some adult dogs might even learn at an increased rate because they're less easily distracted than when they were puppies.
