How to House Train Your Puppy

Oh boy, house training a puppy! It can feel like a never-ending battle, but don't worry, you got this! With a little bit of patience and consistency, your puppy will be house-trained in no time and you will feel like the dog whisper I know you are!

First things first, designate a spot for your pup to do their business. You don't want them leaving little surprises all over your house! Pick a spot in your yard or home, and make sure it's easy for your pup to access. Bonus points if it's close to your coffee machine for those early morning potty breaks.

Next up, stick to a schedule! Just like us humans, puppies need to go at certain times. After meals, naps, and playtime are prime times for your pup to go potty. Make sure to use a consistent command like "do your business" or "make it rain" ha - whatever works for you!

When your pup does their business in the right spot, shower them with praise and treats! Positive reinforcement is the key to success, so make sure they know they did a good job. And if accidents happen (and they will), don't freak out! Just clean it up and keep going with the training process.

Happy Dog Training!
